By the simplest of definitions, grace is “unmerited favor”. Specifically, the unmerited favor that God has shown mankind in sending His Son to live as one us and die as the price for our sins. Grace is as simple an act of LOVE as you can get.
Likewise, whereas God has demonstrated His love towards us by showing us grace, should we also not give grace to one another. For if God the Almighty, Holy, and Righteous One can show us grace, then who are we to hold unforgiveness, bitterness, and even hatred towards one another.
Does scripture not tell us “Judge not lest you be judged.” It also says “There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy;”(James 4:12)
So, my friends, let us first be quick to receive the Grace, which God has so lovingly offered to us. Then, in response to the great love and Grace He has shown us, let us then demonstrate the same Love to one another by freely offering grace to those who have slipped and fallen. Offer this same grace to those who hurt and offend us, whether it be intentional or unintentional.
In short, GRACE is a demonstration of LOVE
Ephesians 2:8 NASB2020
[8] For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Romans 5:8 NKJV
[8] But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
II Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
[9] And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
John 15:12 NKJV
[12] This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
