For those that have read my most recent posts, this one will almost certainly at least initially seem somewhat contradictory. I hope you stick with me though, because as you will see it really is not.
We have all been there, a time where we have a real or perceived to be desperate need. In the midst of the need you pour your heart out to the Lord. You cry out to Him, pleading, bargaining, begging even, but nothing. Sometimes you even wonder if He even hears your prayers.
I can assure you that according to His Word He HEARS.
Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. Isaiah 65:24
Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.
Daniel 10:12
Even in the midst of the waiting when we fear, discouragement, and at times even hopelessness seem to overwhelm us “The Lord Almighty is with us.” (Ps 46:11)
So, if we can trust that He hears and is with us, then what? Well, if we take a look closely at just a few passages, it is pretty straightforward.
Wait –
In the TikTok, instant everything world that we live in waiting is one thing that we usually have to do very little of and thus making patience truly a virtue.
Be Still –
Similarly, we are in a go-go go and do do do world as well. This makes it very difficult for some
Cease Striving –
Going with being still, also means resting and letting go of the push and struggle to “do it on our own.”
Know and Trust that He is God
We know and believe that our God is BIGGER than anything that we face in this world.
Be Strong –
When we realize and truly believe and accept God is Bigger than we can rely on His strength instead of our own.
Take Courage –
When we rely on His strength, it becomes much easier to have courage and confidence.
Keep Praying –
Now, just keep praying. Ask and keep Asking.
Believe You Have Received –
Finally, when you pray, pray, believing that He has already answered and you will have what you asked.
So, my brothers and sisters, i encourage you to let your faith rise up, know, and believe that He is with you. He is BIGGER than anything need or challenge that you face. So take heart, and know that you CAN stop worrying and rest in trusting that your God is GOOD.
HE IS WITH YOU, EVEN IN THE WAITING!

Mark 11:22-24

[23] For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. [24] Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
